Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within our systems, providing excellent administrative support, and ensuring the integrity of information across various platforms. This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Answer customer calls promptly, with patience and professionalism, input orders into our system and answer any questions the customer may have. Also input orders received by fax or email.
- Assist management and staff in resolving administrative problems.
- General clerical support – mailing, copying, faxing, and scanning as needed.
- Accept and transact credit card payments at the customer’s request.
- Monthly reporting, other general data entry tasks and reports as they arise
- Other assorted general office duties.
Qualifications and Education Requirements- 1+ years’ experience in similar position
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Must have a diploma or certificate in a business or administration course
- Proficiency in typing and Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize projects based on the needs of the business
- Ability to multitask and “change gears” – work interruptions happen that need immediate attention
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
