Job Description:

Meal Prep Ottawa is looking for a reliable and hardworking team member to join our growing operation as a full-time Delivery Driver & Kitchen Assistant.

This is a hybrid role that combines daily driving responsibilities with hands-on support in the kitchen. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our meals are delivered on time while also assisting with food prep and kitchen operations when not on the road.

We’re a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, and is willing to jump in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving & Deliveries:

• Deliver fresh meals to our Westboro location (daily)
• Restock vending machines (including multiple daily trips as needed)
• Deliver inventory to our airport location
• Handle weekly B2B deliveries to corporate clients
• Complete occasional special request deliveries for customers
• Ensure timely, safe, and professional delivery service

Kitchen Support:

• Assist with basic food prep (portioning, packaging, labeling)
• Support kitchen team with daily production tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
• Follow food safety and handling procedures

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Comfortable driving regularly throughout the day
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Previous kitchen experience is an asset, but not required

Schedule:

• Full-time (approximately 35–40 hours/week)
• Mix of daytime driving and in-kitchen hours
• Weekend availability required
