Manpower is recruiting a licensed 310T Diesel Mechanic for its client, Purolator, in Pickering, Ontario.

Pay: $49.45 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, diagnose, and repair delivery vehicles and related mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Document work orders, order and install parts, maintain parts inventory, and coordinate preventative maintenance.
• Identify quality-control issues and determine repair options, including whether parts can be rebuilt or repaired.
• Provide emergency roadside service and coordinate towing when vehicles cannot be repaired on site.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician 310T trade certification.
• At least five years of experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive equipment.
• Class G driver's licence with a clean driving history; a clear criminal history is also required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
