Job OverviewThe Director – Assets, Project Management & Development reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and will be responsible for providing overall management and direction on both Catapult’s Asset and Project Management programs. The Director – Assets, Project Management & Development will be responsible to ensure continuous improvement, compliance, and adherence to Catapult’s Project Management delivery framework. The Director – Assets, Project Management & Development will be required to work closely with the Manager – Operations, and Manager – Compliance, Regulatory, and HSE to ensure corporate objectives tied to asset/project management and strategic project delivery are being met. Regular reporting and updates will be required to be provided to the COO, as requested.
The Director – Assets, Project Management & Development will work closely with the COO on strategic development initiatives within the company. This will include a variety of tasks including but not limited to feasibility reviews, engagement with stakeholders and key clients/suppliers, and the delivery of resulting key strategic projects.
The Director – Assets, Project Management & Development will typically have a direct report in that of the Project Engineer and Purchasing Coordinator. Performance and management of performance including but not limited to regular and annual reviews for the employee or any others in their direct supervision is the responsibility of the Director – Assets, Project Management & Development.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and maintain Catapult’s Asset Management Framework including but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain the Asset Management Program for each of Catapult’s Sites (program is currently FIIX)
- Maintaining asset tagging and classification for on-Site components
- Train and educate Site staff on Asset Management procedures relating to inventory
- Perform regular monthly inventory checks using the Facility Manager and Asset Management Program for inputs and clarification
- Perform at least two (2) in-person and full detail inventory inspections annually
- Support Catapult’s financial team during monthly accrual meetings and annual audits as requested.
- Review the program regularly considering continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Manager – Operations, and Manager – Compliance, Approvals, and Health & Safety to ensure corporate objectives tied to Asset Management Framework are being met
- Provide regular updates to the COO along with preparation of Board reporting materials.
- Develop and maintain Catapult’s Project Management Framework including but not limited to:
- Conduct regular Project Management meetings with staff responsible for active or pending projects under the framework.
- Ensure that staff listed as responsible for various project responsibilities are completing updates and forms as required.
- Maintain adherence to approved budgets including but limited to review and ownership of AFEs
- Work closely with the Manager – Operations, and Manager – Compliance, Approvals, and Health & Safety to ensure corporate objectives tied to Asset and Project Management are being met
- Support Catapult’s financial team during monthly accrual meetings and annual audits as requested.
- Review the program regularly considering continuous improvement
- Work closely with the Manager – Operations, and Manager – Compliance, Approvals, and Health & Safety to ensure corporate objectives tied to Project Management Framework are being met
