Position SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director, Learning and Development to lead enterprise-wide learning programs and initiatives that foster a culture of continuous learning, leadership excellence, and employee growth. This role plays a critical role in shaping the learning strategy across the organization, ensuring that all employees—from new hires to senior leaders—have access to impactful, engaging, and future-ready development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and delivery of enterprise learning programs, including onboarding, leadership development, core capability building, and future-skills initiatives.
- Translate enterprise and workforce strategy into practical, scalable learning solutions that build organizational capability.
- Embed skills-based learning approaches, including the integration of a skills ontology framework into program design and learning pathways.
- Advance enterprise capability in priority areas such as leadership, digital fluency, data literacy, and change readiness.
- Partner with HR COEs and business leaders to identify capability gaps and co-create targeted learning solutions.
- Manage external learning partnerships and vendors, including selection, governance, and performance oversight to ensure quality, relevance, and return on investment.
- Leverage modern learning technologies and delivery models to drive engagement, scale, and impact.
- Establish metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and demonstrate business impact.
- Provide oversight to internal teams and external partners supporting corporate learning initiatives.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, including 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven success in designing and delivering onboarding and leadership development programs.
- Bilingual (French) is an asset.
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and empowering others.
