From handing out sandwiches to people experiencing homelessness in downtown Chilliwack, we have grown to operate multiple locations and services across the community, supporting hundreds of individuals each day through shelter, meals, recovery programming, and supportive services.

We are seeking a Director of Finance & Corporate Services to join our leadership team and help steward the financial health, operational infrastructure, and organizational effectiveness that support this mission.

Position Summary

The Director of Finance & Corporate Services provides strategic and operational leadership across finance, facilities, information systems, and corporate infrastructure to support strong service delivery and sustainable organizational growth.

As a key member of the leadership team, this role supports organizational alignment and execution of priorities across departments by ensuring financial strategy, operational infrastructure, and corporate services are integrated with leadership direction and mission impact.

This position oversees the Finance Team and Operations Manager, supporting strong coordination across finance, IT systems, facilities, health and safety, and corporate services.

This position plays a central leadership role in:

• Financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Program costing and sustainability planning
• Grant budgeting and compliance
• Risk management, insurance, and contracts oversight
• Facilities, systems, and infrastructure stewardship
• Strengthening organizational processes and decision-making through financial insight
• Supporting leadership teams with scenario planning and strategic evaluation of initiatives
• Identifying opportunities to leverage systems and emerging technologies (including AI) to improve efficiency and impact

This role partners closely with program and department leaders to support decisions that balance mission impact, operational capacity, and financial sustainability.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• CPA designation required
• Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in finance and/or operations
• Experience in nonprofit, social services, or multi-site environments considered an asset
• Experience overseeing multiple corporate service functions preferred

Compensation

We offer:

• Salary of $110,000–$125,000, depending on experience
