Company profile:Arc Health provides disability management, accommodation, and rehabilitation services to clients across Canada. We help employers manage disability claims and requests for accommodation and assist those with medical conditions to regain health and productivity.
As a member of the Arc Health team you will serve clients across Canada in all areas of absence and disability. In doing so, you will have the support of our in-house Medical Director, team leaders, and other experts for advice and mentoring.
Role:Bring your experience adjudicating and managing disability claims and/or accommodation requests to this role. This is an exciting opportunity for those who have been hands-on in delivering disability case management, rehabilitation, or accommodation, enjoy dealing with people and are service-oriented, want to bring a proactive and high-touch approach to their clients, and are energized by a problem-solving approach.
The major responsibilities of this role include:- Provide decisions on eligibility for disability benefits or accommodation
- Demonstrate sound organizational skills and the ability to action files in a timely manner
- Identify and work to resolve issues to support timely return to work
- Work collaboratively with all stakeholders towards outcomes
To be successful in this role, you are detail-oriented, have the ability to work independently, are self-motivated and take initiative to accomplish tasks, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
The role can be tailored to focus on disability management or accommodation based on your interests and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Post-secondary education in health-related field
- Affiliation with a professional college or association (e.g. CVRP or CVRP eligible, CDMP, RRP, etc.)
- 3+ years’ experience in disability management, rehabilitation, or human resources
- Fluency (at a bilingual level) in French
