OverviewThe Smokin' Birds is a BBQ food truck serving meats, sandwiches, burgers and vegetables cooked over wood fire. We are a small team looking for a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher/Prep Cook. This role is essential in maintaining the smooth operation of our food truck. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for a good attitude with a willingness to learn. If you enoy working in hospitality, we are a busy location with opportunities to learn and grow.
Responsibilities- Wash and sanitize kitchen tools, equipment and dishwashing machine area
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Cleaning tables and service areas
- Remove garbage and recycling
- Sweeping, mopping and deep cleaning tasks
- Assist in basic food preparation duties
- Receiving deliveries and unpacking product, refilling supplies as needed
- Standing, walking, moving up and down steps and service ramps
- Lifting and bending up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
Qualifications- Prior experience in kitchen environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills

Pay$17.60-$20.00 per hour
