1Up Moving Ltd. is seeking an experienced Driver / Mover to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can lead a crew, drive a 26-ft moving truck, deliver exceptional customer service, and protect clients’ homes and belongings to a high standard.
We are looking for someone dependable, professional, physically fit, and safety-minded who takes pride in doing the job right.
Responsibilities- Lead residential and occasional commercial moving crews
- Safely operate a 26-ft moving truck (valid Class 5 license required)
- Load, secure, transport, and unload household goods safely
- Use proper moving techniques and equipment including dollies, straps, floor runners, door protection, moving blankets, and stretch wrap
- Protect furniture, floors, walls, railings, and doorways during every move
- Direct and support crew members on-site
- Communicate professionally with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain clean, organized trucks and equipment
- Follow company safety procedures and moving standards
Requirements- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving record
- Moving industry experience
- Experience driving larger cube vans or moving trucks
- Able to lift and carry heavy furniture repeatedly
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Punctual, reliable, and professional in appearance
- Comfortable working in teams and taking leadership
- Must be smoke/vape free while on jobsites
