Job SummaryDRL Construction is a leading landscape construction company serving the Greater Toronto Area. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting construction equipment and materials to job sites, assisting with basic equipment maintenance, and supporting the construction team as needed.
Responsibilities:- Operate company vehicles with construction equipment, including loading/unloading and securing equipment onto floats/trucks.
- Transport materials and equipment to various job sites across the GTA.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck, float, and equipment.
- Perform basic inspections and maintenance of construction equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and equipment movements.
- Occasionally assist with general site labor as required.
- Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Coordinate with dispatch or warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery schedules.
Requirements:- Valid AZ or A-restricted driver’s license.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
- Knowledge of construction equipment and familiarity with loading/unloading onto floats.
- Strong knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area roads and traffic patterns.
- Experience with equipment maintenance is an asset.
- Must be able to pass a police background check.
- Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy materials as required.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Experience: 3+ years in construction (preferred).
Skills- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving and freight transportation.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading cargo.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
