Job Title: DZ Residential Driver/Loader

Location: Windsor, ON

Shift Details:

• Schedule: Tuesday to Friday
• Start Time: 5:30 AM
• Shift Duration: 10–12 hours per day

Pay Rate:

• $24.00/hour ($28.00/hour upon hire after probationary period)
• Weekly pay + 4% vacation pay
• LOTS of overtime available (after 44 hours)
• Benefits available after probationary period

Requirements:

• Valid DZ License
• Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract

Job Description:

As a DZ Residential Driver/Loader, you’ll be responsible for operating a Rear-Pack Garbage Truck or Side Loader Recycle Truck to collect residential curbside waste and recycling. You’ll work as part of a team to provide safe, efficient, and customer-focused waste collection services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Rear-Pack Garbage Truck or Side Loader Recycle Truck
• Collect residential curbside waste, including garbage, yard waste, organics, and recycling
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Deliver excellent customer service and complete assigned routes efficiently
• Repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs from the ground into the hopper
• Dispose of collected waste at local transfer stations and landfills

Physical Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions
• Must wear steel-toed work boots (above the ankle)
