Mikhaiel Logistics is expanding and opening a new location in Ottawa / Casselman, and we are currently looking for a reliable and experienced DZ Driver to join our team.
Position OverviewAs a DZ Driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight safely and on time within Ottawa and surrounding areas. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to assist with physical work when needed.
Responsibilities- Safely operate a DZ truck for local deliveries
- Complete deliveries in a timely and professional manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Use tailgate (liftgate) for loading and unloading
- Hand bomb freight when required
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork
- Follow all company safety policies and Ontario regulations
Requirements- Valid DZ driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean CVOR and driver abstract
- Experience using a tailgate
- Good knowledge of Ontario (Ministry of Transportation of Ontario) regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
What We Offer:Starting rate of $24/hour, increasing to $25/hour upon successful completion of the 3-month probationary period
