Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ECE-IT (Early Childhood Education - Infant/toddler) specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education, and supporting children with diverse needs. The successful candidate will work closely with young learners, providing engaging educational experiences that foster development and inclusion. Bilingual skills in English and French are highly valued to effectively communicate with a diverse student population. Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that incorporate technology tools to enhance learning experiences
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting instructional methods and materials accordingly
• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure inclusive classroom practices
• Utilize computer skills to operate educational software, manage digital resources, and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
• Assist in classroom management, ensuring a safe, organized, and stimulating environment for children
• Lead small group activities focused on early childhood development, including language, social skills, and motor coordination
• Maintain effective communication with team members and families regarding children's progress and needs
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education and instructional technology

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings or related educational environments
• Knowledge of child development principles, special education strategies, and inclusive practices for children with disabilities
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration among staff and families
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide activities and support team members
• Experience in classroom management, lesson planning, and time management skills are essential
• A background or training in early childhood education or related certification is preferred but not mandatory
