Oxford Learning Halifax is currently seeking a dynamic, organized and people-focused Education Coordinator to join our growing team.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Halifax and Bedford.
While training may begin with slightly reduced hours, the role is intended to transition quickly into a consistent full-time schedule (approximately 35–40 hours/week).
About the RoleAs an Education Coordinator, you will play a central role in the day-to-day operations of the learning centre. You will work closely with students, parents, teachers and leadership to help ensure an exceptional experience for every family who walks through our doors.

No two days are ever the same.
ResponsibilitiesStudent & Parent Support- Guide prospective families through Oxford Learning programs
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress
- Help students build confidence, independence and positive learning habits
- Maintain a welcoming, professional and supportive environment for students and families
Centre Operations- Coordinate student, teacher and assessment schedules
- Organize and administer student assessments
- Develop and oversee individualized student learning programs based on results
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
- Support daily centre operations, including opening and closing routines
- Maintain organization and cleanliness throughout the centre

QualificationsRequired- University degree
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience working in customer service, education, administration or other people-focused environments
- Ability to commute to Halifax and Bedford locations
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check
Assets- Bachelor of Education or teaching certification
- Strong secondary math and science skills
- Experience supporting students with learning differences
- Bilingualism (French/English or other languages)
