SummaryThe Partnerships Coordinator at Build a Dream will support the development and management of partnerships with corporations, educational institutions, and community organizations. The coordinator will play a key role in cultivating long-term relationships that support Build a Dream's mission and strategic goals. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a background in business development or partnership management, passionate about creating meaningful collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:- Partnership Development: Assist in the identification and recruitment of corporate and community partners that align with Build a Dream’s mission. Maintain strong relationships with existing partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Event Support: Collaborate with internal teams to support the execution of partnership-related events.
- Sponsorship Opportunities: Work alongside the Career Support Specialist to identify and secure sponsorships for Build a Dream’s programs and events. Help develop sponsorship packages and tailor proposals to prospective sponsors.
- Communication: Assist in creating materials for outreach efforts, including presentations and reports that summarize partnership impact and value. Ensure that all communications with partners are timely, professional, and aligned with Build a Dream’s brand.
Required/Preferred Qualifications:- Attending or having completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
- Relevant experience with partnership development, corporate relations, or business development is preferred.

- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to safely lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
Conditions of Employment:- Must be between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
