Clayoquot Action is a Tofino-based conservation society committed to protecting the biocultural diversity of Clayoquot Sound. Our goals are accomplished through public education, citizen research and monitoring, and advocacy. The vision is simple: to keep Clayoquot Sound clean and green for future generations, to preserve the diversity and integrity of the ecosystems, and to maintain and develop community and cultural richness.
We currently have an opportunity for an energetic people-person to join our team as the Education Program Coordinator. You will help coordinate weekly film screenings, table at Tofino Public Market on Saturdays, and support other staff with a variety of tasks.
You are:- Passionate about protecting Clayoquot Sound
- Comfortable interacting with the public
- Organized and able to balance daily tasks
- Able to learn and utilize online and digital technologies as needed
