Electrical Estimator (Industrial)

$130,000 – $135,000 Base + Discretionary Bonus + Full Benefits

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator with a strong background in industrial construction environments, ideally within a General Contractor or Prime contractor structure.

This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, competitive estimates for industrial, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects, working closely with internal teams and external partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for industrial and infrastructure projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to define scope, risks, and opportunities
• Develop accurate budgets from conceptual designs and early-stage project inputs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Build relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
• Participate in site visits, pre-tender meetings, and bid reviews
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
• Lead bid closing processes and submission documentation
• Support post-tender activities, including change orders and project transitions
• Maintain estimating tools, cost databases, and historical cost data

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in industrial construction
• Experience working with a General Contractor or Prime contracts
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction methods in Canada
• Ability to interpret complex electrical drawings and specifications
• Experience with estimating software such as Trimble Autobid, InEight, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Bilingual (French & English) is considered an asset but not required
• Team-oriented, accountable, and proactive approach

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000 – $135,000
• Discretionary Bonus
• Comprehensive Benefits (80% employer paid after 3 months)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Hybrid Work Model: Minimum 3 days in office
