Job Title: Electrical Project Estimator

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Electrical Project Estimator to join our team. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and client engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate and competitive project estimates, supporting business development efforts, and contributing to strategic growth initiatives.

Position Overview

1. Project Estimating & Bid Preparation

The Estimator is responsible for preparing precise, competitive, and financially sound project estimates.

• Perform detailed digital takeoffs using Procore from Invitation to Bid through final submission
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop complete and accurate scopes
• Solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing to ensure competitiveness and margin protection
• Monitor material cost fluctuations and incorporate market conditions into pricing strategies
• Ensure alignment between estimate, execution strategy, and project objectives

2. Client Relationship Management & Business Development

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities and strategic partnerships
• Provide value engineering recommendations that optimize cost without compromising quality or performance
• Represent the organization as a knowledgeable and reliable partner during pre-construction phases

3. CRM Management & Pipeline Oversight

• Manage and update all opportunities, bid statuses, and client interactions within the CRM system
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all pipeline activities
• Develop forecasting reports, including workload projections and bid success metrics
• Support leadership in strategic planning through accurate pipeline visibility

4. Pre-Construction Communication

• Communicate technical project details clearly to clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Lead bid review meetings to outline scope, assumptions, and exclusions
• Proactively identify and address scope gaps or inconsistencies in contract documents
• Mitigate risk through early clarification

5. Design-Build Estimating & Risk Assessment

The Estimator plays a critical role in projects with limited or evolving design information.

• Develop conceptual budgets based on preliminary drawings or narrative scope descriptions
• Identify potential risks, code compliance issues, and scope gaps during the estimating process
• Collaborate with operations and field teams to validate constructability and labor assumptions
• Ensure estimates reflect practical installation methods and project execution strategies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
