We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Testing and Quality Technician to support rapid product development and innovation. Your mission is to test and analyze samples, generate reliable data, and provide clear insights to the core technology teams that drive formulation iteration and performance improvements. You will also play a role in ensuring materials and products meet required standards, from incoming inputs through to final output, helping maintain consistent quality throughout the process.

Responsibilities:- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and quality requirements are met;
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
- Perform repeatable testing and inspection tasks with a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail;
- Perform electrochemical test set-up, execution, monitoring and measurements;
- Ensure test equipment is calibrated and working correctly;
- troubleshoot equipment when issues occur;
- Help to identify and support new approaches to improve our testing methodologies;
- Communicate test results/outcomes clearly to other teams
- Complete product and sub-assembly manufacturing QA/QC tests as needed;
- Perform quality control testing and prepare reports, as part of established procedures;
- Support organization of third party certification testing;
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, and a low-risk operating environment;
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S methodology within testing and quality control;
- Other duties as assigned.
Considerations:- This position requires full-time, in-office presence at our Olympic Village locations.
- Flexibility to occasionally work early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed.
Qualifications:- A diploma in chemical technology, science or engineering.
- Experience working in a lab environment, understanding laboratory safety and protocols

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines and work effectively in team environments
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and quality in work output
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Adaptable and able to pivot tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Candidates demonstrating basic understanding of electrochemical cell materials and chemistries and/or thin-film coating experience may be given preference.
