GrowKids Education Center provides supplementary after-school programs for students in a positive and encouraging environment. Currently we are looking for a part time ENGLISH Teacher to join our team. We are located in North Burnaby.

The classes are held on weekdays after 3PM. The working hours are from 3:00pm – 5:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate and interact positively with young kids
• Highly responsible and punctual
• Thoughtful, energetic and passionate about teaching

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience working with children
• Have experience teaching English reading and writing
• Familiarity with planning and leading group activities for kids

Candidates with a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Job Type:

Part-time

Pay:

$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

• teaching: 1 year (preferred)
