Environmental Service Attendant 2 (Custodian)- $16.21 / hr.

• Type: Temporary Contract — estimated 4–6 weeks
• Location: Moose Jaw, SK (approx. 20 min from Moose Jaw)
• Shifts: Early: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM or 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Mon–Fri only — no weekends)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday only; up to 5 days/week
• Security: Gov’t of Canada Reliability Status required — criminal record check + RCMP fingerprinting (~3–4 days). No felony/DUI convictions. Canadian citizen, PR, or valid work visa.
• 5-Yr Residency: REQUIRED — minimum 5 consecutive years of Canadian residency

Keep facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. This is a Mon–Fri daytime role (no weekends) with consistent hours and a team-oriented environment.

• Clean and maintain offices, hallways, washrooms, hangars, and common areas across base buildings
• Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and polish floors; clean walls, windows, vents, and fixtures
• Operate specialized equipment: auto scrubber, buffer/burnisher, carpet extractor, floor sweeper
• Strip, wax, polish, and shampoo floors as required
• Empty and replace waste containers; replenish washroom supplies
• Move furniture and set up spaces as directed
• Apply WHMIS guidelines for all cleaning chemicals; complete pre-use equipment inspections
• Participate in safety meetings and report any accidents or hazards promptly

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–5 years of custodial or janitorial experience preferred
• Experience with commercial cleaning equipment (auto scrubber, burnisher, extractor) an asset
• Ability to follow written SOPs and work independently
• Minimum 5 years consecutive Canadian residency — mandatory for security clearance at this location
• Must have reliable transportation to get to site
