Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining ERP software applications using any of the following: SQL, Cobol, CL, Java, C, HTML, Javascript. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others, a commitment to writing clean, efficient, and reliable code, and a keen aptitude for learning.
Responsibilities- Create, test and maintain programs related to Modular’s ERP application.
- Debug, troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with software deployment, upgrades, and ongoing support.
- Collaborate with team members, project managers and clients on project and development initiatives.
- Write and maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Qualifications- Postsecondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience programming in one or more of the following: SQL, Cobol, CL, HTML, Javascript, Java, C.
- Experience or education in business environment for accounting, importing and distribution.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with software debugging, testing, and performance optimization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication skills, and an aptitude for learning.
Preferred Skills- Familiarity with Windows and/or IBMi development environments.
- Experience working in a software development lifecycle environment.
Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
