Position DetailsWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to provide administrative and program support within the Dean’s Office. This role supports the Dean, Associate Dean, Assistant Dean (Nursing), and Administrative Manager, and is integral to the effective day-to-day operations of the office. This is a 3-year term, .8 FTE position.
Key responsibilities include:
- managing complex calendars
- supporting office and faculty administration
- providing front-line reception and administrative support
- serving as the recording secretary for Faculty Council, NESA administrative committees (Advisory Council, Joint Faculty, and Curriculum Committee), as well as graduate-level advisory committees and the Graduate Programs Committee.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- proficiency in MS Office and email systems
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Knowledge of University of Lethbridge and its distinctive Health Sciences programs, combined with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with members of the University community and the general public, is essential.
Position QualificationsTwo-year college diploma with 1 – 2 years of related experience.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)$3,741.00 - $4,163.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)$3,741.00 - $4,584.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 7)
