This fast paced Sunset Grill is looking for a experienced, reliable and hardworking Experienced Line Cook who can perform all duties of the kitchen at a high level.

The successful candidate will have

• a positive, team player type attitude
• will also enjoy daytime hours only, freeing up the evenings.
• This is a permanent role for an experienced cook. We will be contacting suitable candidates only.
• Restaurant Hours: 7 am - 3pm Monday to Sunday
• Must be available for shifts Tuesday-Sunday
• Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare for service
• Prepare a variety of Sunset Grill foods
• Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes
• Cover, date and correctly store all food prep items
• Notify Owner in advance of likely shortages
• Serve menu items compliant with established standards
• Use food preparation tools in accordance with recipe manual
• Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations
• Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
• Keep the work area clean throughout the shift
• Ensure grills, stove top, steamer, walk-in cooler and freezers are clean and ready for use
• Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
• Constantly use safe and hygienic food handling practices
• Possess a hardworking respectful and positive attitude
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays

$18.00-$21.00 per hour
