Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our team. Duties- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with plating dishes attractively and efficiently for service
- Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, food service, and meal preparation
Experience- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Proven skills in cooking, food preparation, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in a professional setting
- Experience working in the food industry or similar fast-paced culinary environments is advantageous
- Strong understanding of serving standards, food presentation, and customer service principles
