Job description
The Lead TFA contributes to planning, organizing, integrating, and monitoring site resources to complete work scopes according to contractual requirements at customer power-generating facilities. The role applies technical expertise to complex issues and resolves them through immediate action or short-term planning.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate site activities, including installation, preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and aftermarket upgrades.
- Respond to emergency repair and service requests and troubleshoot equipment.
- Provide technical instruction to customer representatives on installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance.
- Prepare technical, customer, and job-status reports; order materials; secure quotations; and complete time and expense records.
- Review and sign off on implemented changes, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure required parts are shipped to the site.
- Conduct installation walk-downs and coach, mentor, and train team members.
- Travel extensively to project sites and work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required by field assignments.
Qualifications
- Technical or university degree, qualifying experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of field services experience.
- At least seven years of experience in field services or power-generation equipment maintenance.
- Successful completion of required Level III training programs.
- Technical competence in interpreting electrical and mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, dial and laser alignment, and thermal growth equipment.
- English proficiency required.
