Job SummaryHopeTowns is seeking a detail-oriented individual interested in gaining experience in financial administration within a mission-driven organization.
This role provides exposure to financial systems that support community initiatives, hospitality events, fundraising, education and regenerative agriculture. Responsibilities include recording transactions, organizing financial records, and assisting with reporting processes.
The successful candidate will support month-end reconciliations, ensure compliance with financial procedures, and help maintain accurate documentation.
Confidentiality and accuracy are essential, as the role contributes to the financial integrity and sustainability of HopeTowns’ operations.
Participants will gain:- Practical experience in bookkeeping and financial administration

Supervision and MentorshipParticipants will receive direct supervision from financial staff, with structured training in systems, processes, and reporting expectations.

- Proficiency with Excel
- Preference for college-level education or higher
This position is funded in part by the Government of Canada through the Canada Summer Jobs program.
