Job Description:About the role:The Finance Manager in Digital, Business and Technology Solutions (DBTS) will partner with the DBTS IT delivery teams to provide support for all finance related activities including: business casing, strategic planning, budgeting/forecasting, reporting, chargeback process and cost optimization for the DBTS portfolio. The Finance Manager must be able to partner with the key DBTS stakeholders as well as the business units on decisions to ensure that the business is financially successful.
What will you do?- Define, lead and influence the DBTS finance strategy
- Lead DBTS financial tracking, monitoring and cost optimization initiatives
- Manage monthly reporting, forecasting and budgeting cycles
- Provide value to IT and the business through early identification of financial risks & opportunities and other ad hoc report and analysis
- Review enterprise-wide license agreements to validate spend and understand accounting treatment
- Lead DBTS Financial cost modeling and business casing
- Support broader finance team with other ad-hoc projects
What do you need to succeed?- 5 to 7 years of progressive experience within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- 5+ years experience in financial modeling, contract renewal/RFP analysis and business casing
- 5+ years of experience in building and operating financial controls and analysis
- Financial reporting and data analytics skills
- Proven track record of partnering with and influencing business units to drive results
- Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
- Experience and proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, V-look ups, X-look ups)
- Experience presenting to senior leadership. Proficiency with PowerPoint
Preferred Skills:- Accounting designation (ex. CPA), MBA, or equivalent relevant business experience
- Experience in working with large, complex organizations is an asset
- Prior experience with Information Technology management is an asset
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of financial analysts (1 direct report)
- Experience with Oracle and/or Hyperion
