Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes is seeking a student to join our Finance department in a full-time capacity over the summer months. This role will provide support and assistance to current finance team members across a variety of tasks and projects. The position reports to the Finance Manager, and all responsibilities will be supported by appropriate training and supervision.
Primary Responsibilities- Assist with updating departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) for software systems, or provide backfill support to enable other staff to complete SOP updates.
- Support the development of AlayaCare dashboards and report building.
- Conduct OHRS report validation and data cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Contribute to additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications- Qualifying candidate of Canada Summer Jobs:
- Between the ages of 15 and 30
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Experience working with volunteers would be an asset.
- Effective communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Excel and experience in all Microsoft applications.
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, a clean Vulnerable Sector Record Check will be required.
WAGEThe wage for this exciting opportunity is $17.79 to $18.59. Selected candidates will be appropriately placed on the organizations wage grid based on skill, knowledge and experience.*
