About the Role
Cority is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its FP&A team, reporting to the Manager, FP&A. The role owns forecasting and reporting for partner departments, contributes to the monthly board pack, and partners with department heads. It includes driver-based modelling and exposure to SaaS and recurring-revenue metrics.
What You'll Do
- Support annual budgeting and department forecasts by gathering business-partner inputs, updating models, and flagging material variances.
- Support Professional Services reporting, including utilization, backlog, POC revenue, forecasting, and capacity planning.
- Prepare board-pack components, including variance tables and KPI charts.
- Provide accrual inputs to accounting and support post-close flux analysis.
- Reconcile actuals to forecast each month-end.
- Partner with a department head and participate in monthly budget-versus-actual analysis meetings.
- Assist with scenario and sensitivity analysis under the Manager's direction.
What We're Looking For
- Experience building and maintaining driver-based financial models and writing clear variance commentary.
- Strong operating discipline, attention to detail, and familiarity with reporting calendars and version control.
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with budgeting or forecasting platforms is an asset.
- SaaS or recurring-revenue experience and familiarity with Professional Services at a SaaS company are assets.
