The Opportunity

As our Financial Controller, you will lead our accounting and information management functions. You will be the bridge between financial data and executive action, translating complex insights into the strategies that fuel our growth. You’ll manage the day-to-day health of the business while spearheading the high-level systems and controls that keep us competitive.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership: Serve as a key advisor to the Owner, aligning cash flow forecasting and liquidity management with long-term business objectives.
• Financial Stewardship: Direct all accounting policies, internal controls, and GAAP compliance to mitigate risk and ensure reporting integrity.
• Operational Leadership: Oversee the Accounting team, Payroll, and HR administration, fostering a culture of high performance and professional development.
• Systems Innovation: Manage relationships with technology consultants and ERP advisors, overseeing critical system implementations and upgrades.
• Efficiency & Control: Monitor expenditures, manage allocations, and implement process improvements in budgeting and cost control to drive profitability.

What You Bring

• Credentials: CPA designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 5+ years in accounting with at least 3+ years in a financial management/leadership role.
• Tech-Savvy: Expertise in QBO, MS Office, and ERP database systems; you embrace digital transformation.
• Business Acumen: A proven ability to look beyond the numbers to understand the operational "why."
• Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach a team and manage external third-party relationships.
