We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Food Server & Kitchen Support team member to join us at Raahi. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the balance of providing exceptional guest service while supporting back-of-house culinary operations.
Job OverviewAs a core member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a memorable dining experience. Whether you are managing the front-of-house atmosphere or assisting the kitchen with essential prep, your focus will be on hospitality, efficiency, and safety. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive skill set across all restaurant operations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Guest Service & Sales: Provide professional table service, manage orders via POS systems (Toast), and use upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Kitchen Support: Assist with food preparation, including assembling ingredients and portioning dishes according to our established quality standards.
- Operations & Cash Handling: Accurately process payments and handle cash transactions using basic math skills.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean workstation and strictly follow all food safety protocols regarding handling, storage, and sanitation.
- Team Collaboration: Demonstrate strong time management to support team members during peak periods, ensuring a seamless flow between the kitchen and the dining room.
Experience & Requirements- Background: Previous experience in food service or a restaurant environment is preferred, but we are happy to provide training for motivated individuals.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen prep techniques is a major plus. Experience with Micros POS is advantageous.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours.
