Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food items, handling transactions, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards and customer orders
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
• Serve customers with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food preparation zones in compliance with food safety regulations
• Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
• Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of food preparation, serving, cashiering, and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
• Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
• Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not essential
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.35-$23.40 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 37.5 per week
