Job OverviewWe are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional food service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety, and delivering a positive experience to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage customer orders with efficiency and professionalism, upselling menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck, adhering to food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
- Ensure timely service during busy periods by managing time effectively
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Uphold sanitation standards by following proper food handling and hygiene procedures
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
Experience- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with food preparation, cashiering, serving, and basic math skills such as making change and calculating totals
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is advantageous
- Experience with kitchen operations or food handling enhances performance in this role
- Strong time management skills are essential for maintaining efficient service during peak hours
- Ability to upsell menu items to increase sales while providing excellent customer interactions
