Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Forklift Operator/Team Lead to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This role combines hands-on materials handling with leadership responsibilities, ensuring efficient warehouse distribution and inventory management. Duties

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and organize inventory within the warehouse
• Lead and supervise warehouse team members, providing guidance on materials handling, safety protocols, and process adherence
• Manage inventory control through accurate tracking using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment in compliance with company standards
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain OSHA safety standards and prevent accidents
• Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse distribution processes and implement continuous process improvements
• Support 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations by coordinating with external partners for seamless materials flow

Requirements

• Proven experience operating forklifts with valid certification in Reach narrow aisle, counterbalance and propane counterbalance.
• Strong background in warehouse management, inventory management, and materials handling in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in warehouse supervisor or team lead roles within logistics or distribution centers
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a safety-conscious work environment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts
• Experience working within e-commerce or 3PL environments is advantageous
