What we needReporting to the Manager of Technical Services, the Supervisor, Technical Services will be responsible for overseeing the daily work of the Technical Services department, ensuring safe and efficient execution of scheduled work. The Supervisor will monitor maintenance activities, compliance with procedures and communicate operational impact.
What you’ll do- Supervise, support and coach team members while respecting established policies and procedures
- Ensure pool equipment and records are maintained as per regulation and internal standards
- Manage the weekly schedule and inform the team of planned work
- Follow up regularly on work progress to determine status, quality and ensure execution within established deadlines
- Maintain communication with operations on the timing and status of work that impacts operations and downtime of assets
- Ensure that maintenance work complies with health and safety, environmental and quality standards
- Review completed work orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality standards
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
- Participate in the creation of maintenance procedures for repetitive or critical work and solicit recommendations from employees for improvement
- Provide hands-on support and act as backup for team members when needed
Profile needed- Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems, including mechanical, electrical, automated systems
- Knowledge and understanding of pool maintenance and regulations a strong asset
- Proficiency with CMMS tools and maintenance processes (preventative, corrective, predictive)
- Solid understanding of health and safety standards
- Strong leadership qualities and ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in both routine and emergency situations
- Ability to manage stress and make fast, effective decisions
- Flexibility and reliability, including availability for on-call emergency response
WhenYour will work 40 hours per week and must have flexibility in your scheduling to work days, evenings, holidays, plus weekends as needed.
