Position OverviewWe are seeking motivated and detail-oriented students to join our team as G1–G12 Writing Curriculum Research & Development Assistants.
This role focuses on supporting the research, design, and development of a structured English writing curriculum for K–12 students, aligned with North American academic standards. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a real curriculum project with meaningful impact in education.
Our Curriculum VisionOur curriculum project is built on a forward-thinking and research-driven approach to writing education, with three key innovations:
- Writing Skill Tree Framework: We are developing a structured K–12 writing progression system that breaks writing into clearly defined, teachable, and assessable skills. This “skill tree” ensures systematic and measurable growth across all grade levels.
- Big Writing Concept: Our program goes beyond traditional writing instruction. We view writing as an integrated ability that includes critical thinking, idea development, and communication, rather than just language expression.
- Writing in the AI Era: Our curriculum is designed for the future. We explore how writing education evolves in the age of AI, focusing on human thinking, originality, and meaningful communication, while also integrating AI as a learning tool.
This project aims to build a next-generation writing curriculum that prepares students for academic success and real-world communication in a rapidly changing world.
