Store Manager
Job OverviewThe Store Manager is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team that reflects the values and culture of the Nowco Group. This role prioritizes creating an engaging, accountable, and positive workplace while delivering industry-leading customer service.
The Store Manager ensures operational excellence by implementing and maintaining proven standards set out by the Nowco Group. This includes driving sales performance, maintaining merchandising excellence, and developing team members to achieve both personal and organizational success.
Success in this role is measured by team culture, customer satisfaction, operational consistency, and financial performance.
Short Term Responsibilities (0–6 Months)- Ask Questions, Big or Small. This is the most important.
- Create and manage staff scheduling to align with business needs
- Mix paint accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectations
- Maintain merchandising standards across all departments
- Handle return authorizations in accordance with company policy
- Oversee inventory maintenance and accuracy
- Delegate tasks effectively and hold staff accountable
- Monitor and improve employee efficiency and productivity
- Execute store promotions and ensure proper setup
- Implement and verify price changes
- Develop basic to intermediate understanding of POS systems
- Maintain outdoor signage and store presentation
- Review daily reports and take action where required
- Reorder promotional products using AI-supported tools
- Operate and monitor security cameras
- Ensure minimum transaction standards are met
- Track employee performance and behavior
- Communicate and reinforce sales goals with the team
- Ensure accountability for opening and closing procedures
Long Term Responsibilities (6–12 Months)- Manage receiving processes and ensure accuracy
- Handle claims and vendor-related issues
- Develop and execute staff online training schedules
- Lead hiring processes and employee orientation
- Conduct employee performance reviews and manage reprimands when necessary
- Develop deep expertise in POS systems
- Manage vendor direct ordering processes
- Maintain awareness and oversight of building upkeep and maintenance
- Create efficient storage solutions for inventory
- Prepare for seasonal readiness in departments and influx of inventory
Pay: $22.00 per hour
