Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist clients in the Qualicum, Parksville, Errington, Nanaimo areas.
Duties- Communicate effectively with clients and families
- Meal Prep & baking
- Taking clients grocery shopping/running errands
- Light Housekeeping
- Laundry help
- Personal Care, bathing,brushing hair, grooming etc
- Help with daily medications
- Organizing and de cluttering
- Anything to help!
A lot of clients are seniors but also a lot are busy parents that just need some help around the house with various tasks.
Qualifications- Experience within a home care setting is an asset, but willing to train the right candidate
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient support
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management capabilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Prior experience in customer service or healthcare settings is advantageous
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to patient confidentiality
Schedules can be flexible and hours dependant on how many youd like to work.
I am a laid back and easy going business owner momma and looking for some awesome people to help me build this empire :)
Sub contractor to start would be ideal and eventually hired as an employee, no medical benefits at the moment as i am only one person so far.
