About the Role:As a Caregiver / Home Support Worker, you’ll be providing quality in-home care to clients in Fort St. John and surrounding areas. You’ll assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and support clients in maintaining comfort, dignity, and independence in their own homes.
Responsibilities Include:- Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, continence care, and mobility assistance)
- Medication reminders and assistance as permitted
- Meal preparation, feeding assistance, hydration support, and tube feeding as trained and directed
- Repositioning, turning schedules, and pressure injury prevention
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Companionship and emotional support
- Transportation and accompaniment to appointments and community activities
- Monitoring, reporting, and documenting changes in client condition
- Dementia, disability, palliative, rehabilitation, and complex care support
- Safe transfers, lifts, and use of mobility equipment
- Infection prevention and control
- Following care plans, company policies, and safety procedures
Hospital & Facility Support (our private-care services) may include:- One-to-one companionship and supervision
- Advocacy, note keeping and charting, and emotional support
- Assistance with meals, mobility, comfort, and personal care
- Communication with families, healthcare professionals, and the Wings of Care team

Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of caregiving or home support experience
- Certified caregiver/HCA preferred
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Able to cook classic Canadian cuisine and balanced healthy dishes
