Job Title: Heavy Equipment operator / labourerJob Description:We’re a growing excavation company mainly in residential subdivision work, and we’re looking to add a reliable, hardworking team member to the crew.
Our projects run start-to-finish — including basement digs, grading, backfill, septic systems, and final topsoil. We run nice equipment and take pride in keeping our machines clean, well-maintained, and properly greased.
This is a hands-on role with room to grow. Experience is a big asset, but attitude matters more — we’re willing to train the right person who shows up ready to learn and listens.
Equipment We Run:- Excavators (with rototilt)
- Skid steers
- Backhoe
- Dozer
- Dump truck
- Floating equipment
Responsibilities / Jobs- excavation and site prep
- Armour stone projects
- Jump between machines and ground work as needed
- Perform general labour (shoveling, grading, clean-up, etc.)
- Perform basement digs, backfill, septic installs, and final prep
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Take care of tools and equipment
- And much more
What We’re Looking For:- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Teachable attitude — listens and applies feedback
- Operator mindset with a team-first attitude — you’re comfortable in a machine but willing to get out and help on the ground when needed
- Understand that we’re a small crew — not in a machine all day, tasks change often
- Physically capable of outdoor, hands-on work
- Experience with equipment is an asset, but not required
- driver’s license necessary
- AZ or ARZ or DZ is an asset but not required
