Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Machinery Operator to join our construction crew. In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy equipment to support construction projects, ensuring efficient and safe operations on-site. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality results while maintaining a safe work environment.
Job duties- Must be willing to drill & locate, if only proficient at one be willing to learn the other.
- Experience with shallow utility drilling using DCI locators, Falcon F5 & F2.
- Experience drilling/locating through very congested areas.
- Able to read & understand locates.
- Follow all instructions from the Forman, and adhere to all applicable health & safety policies at all times.
- Be responsible for operator maintenance (machine & vehicles).
- Complete all vehicle pre trips and tailboards as required.
- Work with Civil crew or independently on Civil work including but not limited to GLB installation, F2F connection, Cable installation, Dig/Repair etc. during FTTH fibre construction.
- Provide guideline/assist to other civil members
- Acting a lead managing a FTTH job sites temporarily if asked by foreman;
- Support other projects based on PMO requirements.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Work outdoors all year.
