Ground Crew Support personnel assist with aerial application operations and work closely with pilots and supervisors in the field.
Helicopter Ground Crew SupportResponsibilities:- Loading aircraft with fertilizer and other approved products
- Assisting with aircraft fueling operations
- Maintaining accurate load sheets and operational records
- Supporting daily field setup and logistics
- Safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
- Following company safety procedures and policies
- Assisting pilots and supervisors as required
- Working in remote locations throughout BC and Alberta
Requirements:- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to work long hours during peak operations
- Ability to lift and handle equipment and product safely
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to travel and stay away from home when required
Assets:- First Aid Certification
- Transportation Endorsement
- Experience operating trucks, trailers, pumps, or fueling equipment
- Experience working around aircraft, forestry, agriculture, or construction operations
Position 2: Ground Crew SupervisorJob DescriptionThe Ground Crew Supervisor is responsible for coordinating crews, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring efficient day-to-day field operations.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate ground crew personnel
- Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks
- Ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed
- Coordinate aircraft loading and fueling operations
- Manage field logistics, accommodations, vehicles, and equipment
- Complete and review operational paperwork and reporting
- Communicate with pilots, customers, and management
- Train and mentor new ground crew employees
- Assist with scheduling and daily work planning
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused work environment
Requirements:- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
- Ability to travel and work extended hours during peak operations
Assets:- First Aid Certification
- Transportation Endorsement
- Forestry, agriculture, aviation, or industrial operations experience
- Experience supervising crews in remote work environments
Compensation:- Competitive wages based on experience
- Bi-weekly pay
