Spend your summer in the wilderness working for one of Ontario’s largest remote tourism operators. Wilderness North is hiring a Housekeeping Lodge Manager Team for one of our remote fly-in lodges.
This position requires two people working together as a team, and applicants must apply as a pair.
This is a hands-on role that includes overseeing daily lodge operations, delivering strong guest service, and maintaining lodge facilities, including housekeeping and general upkeep.
Wilderness North is an adventure tourism operator with fly-in properties along the Albany and Ogoki River watersheds. We host a wide range of guests, from traditional fishing groups to travelers looking for a relaxed wilderness experience.
Role OverviewThis team position covers housekeeping, lodge upkeep, guest services, and general maintenance. Work is divided between housekeeping responsibilities and operational tasks such as logistics, equipment care, and routine property maintenance. The team ensures cabins are clean and organized, assists guests, maintains lodge systems, and keeps facilities in good working order.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily lodge operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in guest cabins and common areas
- Complete housekeeping duties including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, managing toiletries, laundry, and restocking
- Ensure cabin equipment is clean, functioning, and well maintained
- Provide friendly and responsive guest service
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on lodge equipment such as generators, boats, and motors
- Keep lodge facilities and systems in good working order
- Carry out general maintenance tasks including basic mechanical and carpentry work
- Identify issues and resolve them promptly
Qualifications- Experience in housekeeping for lodges, cabins, or hotels
- Experience in hotel, lodge, or facilities maintenance
- Reliable, proactive, and able to take initiative
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort handling unexpected challenges
- Comfortable working in a remote environment
- Friendly, service-focused attitude with a strong work ethic
Position Details- Full-time, seasonal
- May to September 2026
- Pay: From $5,000 per month per person
- Location: Remote Northern Ontario
- Room and board provided
