Key Responsibilities- Proactive Client Care: Deliver top-tier customer service by quickly solving technical issues and answering questions during or after the sale.
- Proposal & Bid Creation: Draft competitive, highly accurate quotes and tenders tailored to specific project blueprints and pricing needs.
- Full-Cycle Sales Ownership: Take charge of every step from prospecting and securing leads to final closing and ongoing support.
- Strategic Networking: Build and protect long-term, profitable alliances with mechanical contractors to push regional sales forward.
- Consultative Guidance: Work closely with contractors to assess their project goals, offering specialized advice and custom mechanical solutions.
- Technical Engineering Support: Help contractors design and plan projects by offering deep technical expertise during equipment selection.
- Market Awareness: Keep a pulse on competitor moves and new HVAC tech to offer clients the most innovative systems available.
- Targeted Product Sales: Match a versatile catalog of mechanical equipment to the precise demands of your contractor network.
Ideal Qualifications- Professional Drive: A self-starting, results-oriented attitude with a track record of working well alone and with a team.
- Proven Performance: A history of smashing sales goals and fostering deep commercial partnerships.
- HVAC Experience: 5+ years of active sales experience in the mechanical or HVAC sector, specifically targeting mechanical contractors.
- Expert Knowledge: A background dealing with complex HVAC machinery and a solid grasp of how to apply these systems in the field.
- Educational Background: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent, applicable field experience.
- Technical Problem Solving: The ability to offer clear mechanical guidance and assist clients with complex system applications.
- Skilled Communication: Great at explaining difficult technical concepts and closing deals through strategic negotiations.
- Software Literacy: Confident using CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
