OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant to support our team with a variety of administrative and research tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, proofreading, and project management skills, along with experience in legal drafting, data entry, and clerical responsibilities. Duties- Assist in preparing and reviewing immigration applications including:
- LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment) applications
- Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)
- Temporary resident applications (work permits, study permits, visitor visas)
- Permanent residence applications (Express Entry, family sponsorship, etc.)
- Refugee and humanitarian applications
- Collect, organize, and review client documentation for completeness and accuracy
- Draft submission letters, forms, and supporting documents
- Communicate with clients to obtain required information and provide updates
- Maintain accurate and organized client files (physical and electronic)
- Monitor application deadlines and follow up on pending cases
- Assist with responding to IRCC requests and correspondence
Requirements:- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Canadian immigration (LMIA and PNP experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of IRCC processes and immigration programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Preferred Qualifications:- Diploma or certification in Immigration Consulting or related field
- Experience working with an RCIC or immigration lawyer
