About the RoleWe are a high-volume plastics manufacturing operation with extrusion, printing, and converting processes.
We are seeking a licensed Industrial Millwright (433A) to take ownership of equipment performance in our converting department. This role is focused on complex setups, troubleshooting, and improving machine reliability.
This position starts as a hands-on role with the expectation of quickly taking ownership of setup stability and equipment performance, working closely with an experienced supervisor to learn and stabilize setups on converting equipment (wicketing, side weld, bottom seal).
As operations stabilize, this role is expected to grow into a leadership position, helping direct maintenance activities, improve team efficiency, and implement structured preventive maintenance (PM) systems across the plant.
This is an opportunity for a strong millwright to move beyond day-to-day repairs and play a key role in improving operations.

Key Responsibilities- Lead troubleshooting and repair of converting equipment
- Support, and stabilize complex machine setups (wicketing, side weld, bottom seal)
- Take ownership of equipment uptime, reliability, and recurring issues
- Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions
- Work with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems including gearboxes and assemblies
- Train and support setup personnel to improve consistency and efficiency
- Maintain a strong, hands-on presence on the production floor
- Work closely with production to reduce downtime and improve performance
- Support maintenance activities across the plant as needed
As the role develops:- Help prioritize maintenance activities and improve team efficiency
- Support and guide maintenance team members
- Contribute to building and improving a preventive maintenance (PM) system

Requirements- Valid 433A Industrial Millwright license
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Preferred Experience- Plastic converting equipment (wicketing, side weld, bottom seal)
- High-speed packaging or production equipment
- Supporting or training setup personnel
- Improving machine performance and reliability
