What You’ll Be Doing- Surface preparation using hand tools, power tools, and abrasive blasting
- Applying industrial coatings by brush, roll, conventional spray, and airless spray
- Working with epoxies, urethanes, zincs, and specialty coatings
- Reading and following coating specifications and quality requirements
- Working safely in shipyards, shops, industrial sites, and field environments
- Coordinating with supervisors and other trades to keep projects moving
What We’re Looking For- 3+ years of industrial painting experience
- Experience in shipyards, structural steel, tanks, bridges, marine, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong prep skills and understanding of proper coating application
- Experience with blasting and spray equipment is an asset
- Safety-focused and reliable
- Red Seal certification is a strong asset
Compensation & Benefits- $36.00 – $47.00 per hour
- Employer-paid benefits
- $6.00/hour pension for Red Seal certified painters
- 12% vacation/stat pay
