The Opportunity:We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Inside Sales Representative / Customer Service professionals. In this dynamic role, you will be a key point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service and supporting sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):- Greet and assist walk-in customers and contractors, understanding their needs and guiding them to the appropriate products.
- Process customer orders accurately, including taking payments (cash, credit, debit) and ensuring correct billing.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our extensive range of landscape and construction products and their applications to effectively answer customer questions and offer recommendations.
- Coordinate and arrange delivery schedules with customers and communicate effectively with our yard staff to ensure smooth and timely fulfillment.
- Process in-store payments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain consistent and clear communication with yard staff regarding order fulfillment, product availability, and customer needs.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business and our customers.
Qualifications:- Verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Highly motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of landscape materials, products, and their applications is an asset.
- Experience handling cash and processing payments is an asset.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
