About the RoleAT Safety Training is one of Alberta's leading industrial safety training providers, and we're growing. We're looking for experienced Safety Training Instructors to join our team across our Edmonton, Sherwood Park, and newly reopened Calgary locations.
We deliver a comprehensive range of Energy Safety Canada (ESC), First Aid, and industrial safety courses to clients in oil and gas, construction, transportation, and related industries. If you have the field experience, the communication skills, and a genuine interest in keeping Alberta's workforce safe — we want to talk to you.
Courses You'll Deliver- ESC: H2S Alive, Confined Space Monitor/Entry, Fall Protection, MEWP, Fire Watch, etc.
- First Aid Programs
- Industrial Safety: WHMIS, TDG, Ground Disturbance, and additional topics as required
What You'll Do- Deliver engaging, hands-on safety training to diverse industrial audiences
- Prepare classrooms and ensure all equipment and materials are ready before each session
- Enter learner and course data into the training database accurately and on time
- Prepare and issue certificates to successful participants
- Monitor and maintain inventory of training materials and consumables
- Travel to client sites across Alberta for on-site training delivery
- Contribute to course development and support your team on various projects
What We're Looking For- Experience delivering safety training or adult education — or strong field credentials and the drive to get certified
- Strong communicator who can engage, instruct, and assess adult learners confidently
- Professional classroom management skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends
- ESC and/or First Aid Instructor certification is preferred but not required for the right candidate
What We OfferCA$31.50 – CA$43.75/hr depending on experience and certifications
